The Japan-America Society of Greater Austin (JASGA) is a grassroots-level nonprofit that seeks to strengthen the relationship between the people of Japan and the United States. One of 38 member societies of the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS), JASGA offers programs, services, and information to the Greater Austin Area.

Do you just love exploring Pease Park? Well join us to volunteer maintaining this beautiful and enjoyable park. Families encouraged to get outdoors together and take care of native species of plants. Afterwards, have a picnic, explore Shoal Creek, meditate in the Treeshouse, and visit the Troll.

Join the hands-on making experience with JASGA at the Arboretum Barnes & Noble Bookstore to make fun stuff. This meet up Dr. Futamura, a math and art lover will focus on drawing and coloring the Shiba Inu "doge." Make a cute dog manga and create your own comic too.

Come join the fun and help manicure the Japanese Gardens at Zilker Botanical Garden. Our Ambassador to the garden Alan Cook will be there monthly and have some fun facts about the garden. It’s a blast.
